Leadership

Meet the SMW Group leadership team.

While we have over 500 staff working for SMW Group, we still do business one-on-one with our customers. New clients can expect to meet at least one of our leadership team, who have been getting things done in the Bowen Basin for over 20 years.

Jack Trenaman

Director & Board Chair

Before helping to found SMW Group, Jack gained considerable experience as a senior manager with BMA, MEM and Queensland Cement, working up through the management ranks from the fitter trade. Jack’s reputation for excellent customer focus and background in maintenance management strategies enabled the SMW Group to grow to over 300 employees through a downturn.

Jack believes that hard work and strong relationships have caused SMW Group to prosper in a tough industry. The company is acknowledged as a leader in the mining and industry sectors and Jack is committed to leading SMW Group in continued growth through consistent innovation, local employment and community support.
