CQ Blast & Paint
About CQ Blast and Paint
Abrasive blasting, painting and coating for big jobs and small
From a Caterpillar 797 rear dump tray to fabricated material 60m x 60m, our 1100m2 Abrasive Blasting and Painting Workshop can handle any job, big or small.
Able to finish jobs to recommissioning standard, CQ Blast & Paint’s facility is fully supported by an accredited paint inspector, certified to review any type of blasting and painting jobs.
When a component comes in for refurbishment, it’s important to strip it back to see what the damage really is. Our Abrasive Blasting facility can accommodate small components right up to entire 797 trays, preparing the equipment for overhaul.
Having this capability on site right at our Parkhurst workshop means one less step (and one less transport expense) in the overhaul process for industry and mining equipment.
Painting and Coating
Our Painting and Coating facility is one of the largest in Central Queensland, and is available for many different kinds of paint jobs, from mining to marine.
Once equipment has been fully repaired and refurbished by SMW Heavy Fabrication, it proceeds through the paint shed and is restored to OEM colour condition.
We are able to quote on any kind of painting or coating job, with competitive rates and a wide range of colours and coatings available.
