As Chairperson of SMW Group Limited, Jill brings extensive experience as a professional director with management and governance experience, in both public and private sector entities across a range of industries. Jill's key management roles have been in aviation, investment companies and management consultancy (in both the private and public sectors).
Jill is a founding director of SMW Group Limited and Aorere Resources Limited. She is a Board member of the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority and Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee and currently holds directorships of NZX and TSX listed Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited and also ServiceIQ (the industry training organisation for the Aviation, Travel, Tourism, Museums, Hospitality, Retail and Wholesale sectors of New Zealand’s service industry) and is a member of the Audit Committees of both organisations. Jill’s other directorships have included Netball New Zealand and several stock exchange listed companies.
Jill enjoys the exposure and contribution to the strategic growth and development of all organisations she is involved with.
Before helping to found SMW Group, Jack gained considerable experience as a senior manager with BMA, MEM and Queensland Cement, working up through the management ranks from the fitter trade. Jack’s reputation for excellent customer focus and background in maintenance management strategies enabled the SMW Group to grow to over 300 employees through a downturn.
Jack believes that hard work and strong relationships have caused SMW Group to prosper in a tough industry. The company is acknowledged as a leader in the mining and industry sectors and Jack is committed to leading SMW Group in continued growth through consistent innovation, local employment and community support.

Frank holds a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology from the University of Limerick and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. Frank managed materials processing plants in Newcastle, NSW and Perth, WA before moving to Central Queensland where he gained senior managerial experience at Queensland Cement and BMA, in maintenance and engineering services.
Frank has helped to lead the SMW Group’s engineering and manufacturing team to levels of award-winning excellence, including the implementation of production-line processes to streamline regular overhauls of heavy machinery and earthmoving equipment.

Troy Donovan has over 20 years’ experience working in senior financial roles, predominantly at PwC. He has spent the last 8 years in senior executive and CFO roles at the listed entity Cardno Ltd. Troy enhances the team with his knowledge of financial analysis, financial control, treasury, planning, performance evaluation and system development.

Oliver has 20 years of experience working in industry, both overseas and in Australia, specialising in the design and manufacture of high precision tooling for the automotive and high-volume manufacturing using modern techniques. For the past 14 years, Oliver has been working in the mining manufacture and resources sector applying this skill to mining manufacturing, repairs, refurbishment and product development.
With a background in manufacturing and design, Oliver oversees cost-effectiveness, efficient manufacturing, design and repairs.

Riley has risen through the ranks at SMW Group. Since 2014, Riley has successfully taken on every dimension of human resource management, encompassing recruitment, training and retention and all aspects of HSEQ, including successful ISO9001, ISO45001 and AS/NZS4801 recertifications completed in 2020.
Riley also completed two years as Field Service Manager, gaining wide experience in client relationship management. During this period Riley also focused on maximising workforce efficiency and effectiveness by ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System and actively engaging with all improvement opportunities on site and off site.
Riley’s formal qualifications, B. Occupational Health and Safety, and MBA (in progress), alongside Health, Safety and Auditing, added to his innate abilities in people and culture management.
Riley provides excellent human resource leadership to the expanding SMW Group team.
Cameron has built his career in Central Queensland since the early 2000’s, firstly in professional basketball, both as a player, CEO and associated stakeholder development, before moving to a management role in regional development with Bravus Mining & Resources. He contributed significantly to the successful AIPP implementation of Bravus’s Carmichael project, facilitating lasting partnerships between principal contractors and SME’s.
As Operations Manager for Field Services, Cameron will continue to build and strengthen networks and client relationships to new levels of trust and synergy.
